Coalition of students against sexist and sexual harassment

Sexual harassment suppresses. Also in higher education. It is a form of gender discrimination that mostly affects women. The environment of higher education is one with hierarchical relations. This aggravates the problem. The Equality Act of the Swiss constitution contains protection from sexual harassment. However, it is only applicable to employment relationships. This is why several student organizations of the left spectre started a campaign against sexual harassment in higher education.
The CUAE was one of the central actors in this campaign. Representatives of the CUAE will tell during this event of the campaign, of initiating events and of progress in this sphere. Besides all of this, there should be enough time for a general reflection of the issue. Sexual harassment affects us all. What can be done?
